Hey there, my name’s Erin. I’m a twenty-one year old English major from Long Island, New York, who unwittingly quotes F. Scott Fitzgerald on a daily basis. I live with my family and three lovely cats in a teeny tiny apartment (I’d like to call it “cozy”) in an equally tiny town fairly close to the Long Island Sound. I’m making it sound much nicer than it actually is, but anyways…
From as far back that I can remember, I’ve always gushed over anything domestic. I squeal when I see a pink KitchenAid, gasp when I find a Gooseberry Patch cookbook, and suddenly feel quite faint with a Terry’s Village catalog in my hands.
I watch movies and take notes on their decor, I plan make-believe menus for parties I’ll never throw, I frequent real estate websites more than potential buyers, and I will eat up anything (and I mean anything) Holiday related.
You have been warned.
But the thing is- I know there are many others out there like me, and that’s exactly why I created this blog. Not only to spill out my own thoughts and ideas, but to reflect the dreams of others who, like me, can’t seem to make it through the day without thinking about seat cushions.
Enjoy!
Erin I love this website. Keep up the great ideas. Miss you. Linda
Erin,
